Forklift Operator
Join Stanley Black & Decker as a Facilities Material Handler! We're looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to support facility operations and keep the site clean, safe, and running efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Operate forklifts/PIVs and other powered equipment
- Pick up, transport, weigh, and record scrap, cardboard, trash, and skids
- Maintain company grounds and assist with snow removal
- Perform routine equipment inspections and complete checklists
- Use cleaning equipment, floor sweepers, scrubbers, and company vehicles
- Assist the Facilities team with projects as needed
- Identify and report unsafe conditions
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Forklift/PIV experience preferred, but not required
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand/power tools
- Basic math skills
- Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and safety-minded
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
