Stocker Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible stocker to maintain inventory, stock coolers, and keep our facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently.

A good job candidate is a person who is organized, dependable, and able to stock products quickly while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Their main responsibilities include stocking coolers and shelves, rotating inventory, cleaning assigned areas, and ensuring products are properly displayed and available for customers.

The stocker we would like to employ must be able to work efficiently, pay close attention to detail, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to provide customers with a clean, organized, and well-stocked store.

A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous stocking or cleaning experience is an advantage, and the ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization is a must.

Qualifications:

• A good job candidate is a person who is organized, dependable, and able to keep coolers and storage areas fully stocked and clean
• A qualified candidate must be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team
• Previous stocking or janitorial experience is an advantage, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is a must
• Must have at least a high school degree
• Experience stocking merchandise and rotating inventory
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively maintain cleanliness and resolve basic customer requests
• Ability to lift and carry products and work on their feet for extended periods

Responsibilities:

• Stocking coolers and shelves while ensuring products are organized and properly rotated
• Cleaning and maintaining the facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment

• Restocking coolers, shelves, and displays throughout the day
• Rotating inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices
• Receiving and organizing deliveries
• Keeping storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Cleaning floors, coolers, restrooms, windows, and other assigned areas
• Removing trash and maintaining sanitation standards
• Assisting customers by answering questions or directing them to products
• Reporting low inventory, damaged merchandise, or maintenance concerns
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
