OSP Project Engineer

To support the expansion of fiber optic services, the full-time OSP Project Engineer will plan and prepare construction drawings for overhead and underground links, ensuring optimal utilization of communications facilities while collaborating with various teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities: Plan and draft construction designs using CAD and manual processes Provide real-time direction to colleagues to meet project timelines and contractual obligations Collaborate with Sales to develop tailored design solutions for potential customers Required qualifications: 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and telecommunications regulations Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CAD software Experience in fiber and telecommunications industry standards and technologies
