Their collaborative culture, direct access to leadership, and commitment to employee development have made them a recognized employer in the region.Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer to join their growing engineering team. This role involves designing electrical systems for commercial building projects from concept through construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, architects, and contractors.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with MEP consulting experience who enjoy working on diverse projects in a collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple engineering projects, schedules, and client relationships.Attend client meetings and coordinate project requirements.Perform site visits to document existing conditions and monitor construction progress.Design electrical systems from conceptual design through construction documents.Develop electrical designs using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.Design building power distribution systems.Design lighting systems.Design site electrical systems.Design photovoltaic (solar) systems.Perform engineering calculations including:Voltage dropFault currentArc flash analysisCoordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and contractors.Participate in construction administration including RFIs and submittal reviews.Prepare technical reports, basis of design documents, and project specifications.
