X-Ray Technologist (Operating Room- C-arm)

Job Description Job Description Job description PART TIME POSITION Position requires coverage every Thursday ONLY (with the possibility of adding some Mondays if available and a need is present). Job Summary * Requires operation of a mobile C-arm for endovascular procedures including Fistula work, Line insertions, and Angiograms with run-offs. The technologist will also be responsible for annotating, printing, and sending images post procedure. General Accountabilities * Demonstrates excellent knowledge of current X-ray standards. * Demonstrates the ability to relate to and communicate with all levels of personnel, management, physicians, families, and others. * Maneuver C-arm without direction to accommodate the physicians needs. * Utilizes ALARA and shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff. * Positions patient on examining table and sets up and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician. * Works with operating room staff to clean and turn over the room post procedures * Other duties as assigned. * *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications * Education: Associate's degree in radiologic technology * Must be registered with the ARRT * Experience: 2 years+ * Must have knowledge and experience with operating mobile C-arm equipment * Operating room/Vascular experience a plus Skills * Active listening * Speaking * Reading comprehension * Critical thinking * Operation and control Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
