RN - Admissions

The RN – Admissions position is responsible for the implementation and coordination of care from the initial referral to admission. The responsibilities of this position enumerated below, involve significant physical activities including standing, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires the ability to operate office equipment, computers, and the office telephone system. May be exposed to infectious waste/diseases, to include but not limited to TB, AIDS, COVID, and Hepatitis B viruses. DUTIES: Meets with patients and families to explain Hospice services Assess and evaluates potential patients for hospice eligibility for admission Completes admission process, safety assessment and other assessments as necessary Perform other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr HPC
