Events & Ministry Coordinator – Offsite, Part-Time Paid Part-Time Position PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT DETAILS SECTION BELOW BEFORE APPLYING. About the Role We are seeking mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible coordinators who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and helping people experience God’s unconditional love. Coordinators have the opportunity to participate in “business as a ministry” by combining excellence in business with loving their neighbors well. Important Details Part-time: 16 hours per month Location: Serving 1 apartment community near Benedict Fountain Park in Denver, CO Schedule: Business hours, evenings, and weekends Offsite position: The coordinator does not need to live onsite. Pay: $20 per hour Coordinators will drive to the community as needed to perform their duties. Job Duties & Responsibilities Plan and host monthly events and activities for residents, with the goal of caring for and connecting residents with one another, as well as with local services and businesses. Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with the help of residents and a network of community support. Enhance the community’s online reputation by inviting residents to share their experiences. Create marketing materials, including monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts. Manage the event budget process. Prepare monthly summaries and reports. Meet with staff and the Program Director for planning, equipping, and development. Engage volunteers, vendors, and other community partners to maximize impact. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older . Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Basic fluency in English to create marketing materials and required reports for the property management company. Current driver’s license and liability insurance. Reliable transportation for duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors. Ability to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds. Availability to commit weekly hours, mainly during evenings and weekends when most residents are home. Ability to make the minimum-term commitment to serving in the apartment community. Preferred Qualifications Previous event planning experience. Experience working within a budget. Relevant social media experience. A network of potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners.
