About the Position
We are actively seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for an ongoing 120-day assignment in Louisiana. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care across various shift lengths, including 8s, 10s, and 12s, as part of a rotational schedule. The Anesthetist will be comfortable independently managing a broad spectrum of cases from general to adult, pediatric, trauma, spinal, epidural, regional, obstetrical, and neurosurgical, with physician support for pre-ops and medical needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform epidural anesthesia
- Perform spinal anesthesia
- Administer general anesthesia
- Manage anesthesia for adult patients
- Manage anesthesia for pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia for trauma cases
- Administer regional anesthesia for surgical procedures
- Handle obstetrical cases
- Manage neurosurgical cases
- Operate independently while two anesthesiologists are available to assist with pre-operative assessments and any necessary medical needs

- Patients Per Day: 3-4 or 10-12 for Endo, depending on the shift worked
