Job Summary At JPMorgan Chase, the Specialist I in Account Service within the Customer Service Team will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service for various financial products. You will handle inbound calls, build strong customer relationships, and offer innovative solutions to meet client needs in a fast‑paced call center environment. This role supports military families, focusing on military spouses, in partnership with the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). Job Responsibilities Manages a high volume of inbound calls (potentially over 100 daily), delivering comprehensive support for financial products Utilizes customer service expertise to interpret needs and deliver continuous insights Navigates multiple computer systems with efficiency, demonstrating adaptability and resilience Excels independently and collaboratively, driving team success and achieving goals Follows all regulatory and departmental practices and procedures diligently Takes ownership of each customer interaction while treating them with respect and responding with empathy Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Must be a spouse of a currently serving member of the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, or Space Force, including active, reserve, and National Guard components Reside approximately within a 90‑mile radius of the JPMC Center in Tucson, AZ (1818 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson AZ 85713) Strong communication, information gathering, and decision‑making skills At least 1 year of customer interaction experience in phone or face‑to‑face settings, with ability to multitask and work accurately with computer systems Ability to manage complex customer interactions using empathy, composure, and sound judgment Adaptability to new situations and effective navigation of diverse cultural contexts and workplace environments Efficiency in fast‑paced, dynamic, results‑driven environments Problem‑solving skills and ability to present and explain solutions clearly Quick learner of products and systems, embraces challenges, and actively seeks feedback for improvement Proficient computer literacy with experience in using technology to solve problems and communicate professionally High school diploma or GED required Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Developing ability to use data to understand issues and opportunities Developing skills in using AI technology for automation and prompt writing Work Schedule Candidates must be willing and able to work schedules during operating hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
