Job Title: Warehouse Helper - Storekeeper 1st Year Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC Note: This is an onsite role based out of the Service Center in Little Rock, AR. Candidates from outside the area would be expected to relocate for this role; relocation assistance is not available for this posting. This position will be filled as a Warehouse Helper, Warehouse Helper Over 1 year or Storekeeper- 1st Year based on experience.

Job Purpose and Scope

This role is responsible for receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling and performing cycle counts for materials within our Transmission warehouse. Supporting service centers across the territory TX, LA, & MS. Using established material-handling practices, this role also ensures the safe, organized, and efficient placement of materials throughout the warehouse and yard areas.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Learn and adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures. Attend and participate in monthly Safety meetings. Receive and stock material check for any damage and verify packing list against the material. Conduct routine cycle counts. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and various other lifting/hauling devices to transport or relocate large heavy items. Accurately pick and prepare materials for shipment. Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in all areas of the warehouse and yard. Must be able to work in all weather conditions heat, cold, rain, snow, etc. As this is primarily an outside job. Must be willing to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be available for out-of-town storm response due to providing support to TX, LA, & MS.

Education and Experience Required for This Position

High school graduate or equivalent. Operate forklifts. Ability to operate ride on pallet jacks. Perform basic math calculations. Learn identity and nomenclature of standard electric utility material. Basic Computer operation knowledge. Have a working knowledge of Maximo and other stores related software and applications. Role requires frequent repetitive lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of materials weighing up to 50lbs. Role requires extended periods of standing and walking, along with regular bending. This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.
