IT System Administrator

Clearance Required Clearance is required for this position. Job Description Shall maintain the Data Management System and provide updates. Monitor system performance and availability to sustain flight operations. Identify and resolve degradation trends and troubleshoot application, data, and user‑access issues. Diagnose and correct system issues as they arise. Apply patches, version upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with Government direction and applicable cybersecurity requirements. Update automation scripts and data ingest/processing workflows to support mission changes. Coordinate and execute change implementation activities including release planning, impact assessment, and rollback planning. Validate that updates do not break existing functionality. Maintain system documentation, including configuration baselines, release notes, and user‑facing guidance. Provide operational support during mission‑critical periods. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and System Administration. Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration. Active Directory/account management. Patching and configuration management. Virtualization. Troubleshooting and network fundamentals. Cybersecurity hygiene (e.g., STIG implementation and vulnerability remediation). User support for secure or enterprise environments. Equivalent experience or responsibility.
