Senior Security Analyst

Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to provide general administrative support to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)). This position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon. "The anticipated salary range for this position will be between $125,000 and $135,000." Job Responsibilities: Process CAC and building access applications; access control requests; country and threat briefs; in/out processing of OUSW(R&E) personnel (including civilian, military, Intergovernmental Personnel Act/Detail, contractor); indoctrinations/debriefings, security record management; courier card application processing; computer/network account access requests; and visit authorization requests. Provide support to OUSW(R&E) personnel as required concerning clearance information and issues with locks, alarm systems, and maintenance of GSA containers in OUSW(R&E) spaces. Run queries of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) database for clearance information. Provide guidance to OUSW(R&E) personnel on Classification and Declassification, including conducting Original Classification Authority/Derivative Classification trainings as required. Assist OUSW(R&E) with the development of mission essential functions, continuity of operations (COOP) plans, and COOP exercises. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. TS/SCI clearance. Previous experience with security support in a DoW or contractor facility, specifically in the functions of PERSEC, PHYSEC, continuity of operations, INFOSEC/OPSEC, and INDSEC. Strong leadership, problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to work with Senior Executives efficiently and effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel. Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity and experience with the DISS database. Familiarity and experience with DoD Directives 3020.26, 3020.42, 3020.44 5200.01, 5200.02, 5200.08, 5105.02, 5205.02 and the NISP Operating Manual (NISPOM). Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
