Human Services Support/Caregiver*SWING AND GRAVE SHIFT ONLY****

Job Description

The Kids Kottage in Reno Nevada is Reno and Sparks only emergency foster shelter in the area. We are looking for individuals who are motivated to support and work with children experiencing time in WCHSA custody. Our goal is to demonstrate to children that happiness is attainable in life and provide safe loving/family environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise residents in day-to-day activities
Provide support in LifeSkills and daily living activities
Support and foster a trauma informed living and working environment.
Helps generate and support a family atmosphere for residents
Help facilitate children and parents' visitation
Teach basic manners, LifeSkills and help prepare children for their next steps
Support structure and safety within homes of the children

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand, lift, walk and lift up to 15 pounds
At least 21 years of age
Clean background and NO CPS history
Ability to build rapport with all children
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
