Lead Infant Teacher

BrightStars helps families in Rhode Island access QUALITY child care, early learning, and school-age programs. We help child care providers learn about best practices in early learning and apply them to the care children receive. We recognize program quality and give parents information to make choices about their children’s care and education. Position Description The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. This role leads classroom planning, models best practices for support staff, maintains strong communication with families, and ensures that all licensing and program standards are met or exceeded. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants in an early learning setting. CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
