Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Days Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person Location: Yuma, AZ Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shifts (7am–7pm) Compensation: Competitive Market Pay Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active RN license in Arizona. 2–5 years of ER/ICU experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in EMR systems. Responsibilities Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the ER setting with minimal supervision. Triage patients safely, accurately, and promptly. Perform head‑to‑toe assessments, monitor vitals, and respond quickly to changes. Communicate with ER physicians about patient status and diagnostic results. Administer medications, treatments, and point‑of‑care tests as per policy. Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes. Educate patients and families on care plans and pain management. Support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and ER standards. Collaborate with the care team and assist in training new nurses.
