About the Position

Job Title: Trauma ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Trauma ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Care of Ventilated Patient - Continuous IV sedation - ICP monitoring - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Experience in Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Trauma ICU. The role requires significant experience, particularly in high-acuity settings. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. The nurse will provide care for patients with trauma-surgical diagnoses. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical needs. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare professionals. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic environment requiring flexibility. Weekends will be scheduled according to staffing needs. Compliance with dress code and facility expectations is essential. Candidates will be expected to float within the scope to meet facility needs. All modules for the position will be completed during orientation and tracked accordingly.
