Chaplain (Bilingual) With Hospice ExperienceWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to join our hospice care team. This vital role offers an opportunity to provide spiritual support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and possess experience in hospice or end-of-life care, demonstrating sensitivity and cultural competence.Key Responsibilities:Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families, respecting diverse faith backgrounds and personal beliefsConduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teamsOffer counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance tailored to patient needs and preferencesFacilitate religious rituals and ceremonies as appropriate and requestedSupport staff and volunteers with spiritual care training and resourcesDocument all spiritual care interventions accurately in patient recordsMaintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and hospice policiesJoin our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. We foster a supportive environment that values diversity, professional growth, and compassionate care.Skills and Qualifications:Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spokenPrior experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care preferredCertification or training in spiritual care, chaplaincy, or related fields is desirableStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to provide compassionate, non-judgmental support in sensitive situationsCultural competence and respect for diverse spiritual and religious beliefsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required Star Care Hospice
