Experienced Veterinary Technician

Creature Comforts Animal Emergency Center was created to bring expert, compassionate emergency care closer to pets and families in Inman and across Upstate South Carolina. Our new, purpose-built hospital gives the veterinary team the tools to respond when every minute matters: an advanced surgical suite, digital radiology, ultrasound, oxygen therapy, and in-house bloodwork that supports faster answers and informed treatment decisions. We are building a culture where doctors, technicians, client service professionals, and leaders communicate openly, step in for one another, and keep learning through the intensity of emergency medicine. Team members have the chance to influence workflows and traditions from the ground up rather than inherit a rigid playbook. Pet parents already recognize the Creature Comforts name for kind doctors, thoughtful education, and a willingness to go above and beyond; our goal is to carry that trust into every urgent interaction, from the first phone call through discharge. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
