Overview A Firehouse Subs Shift Manager is someone who works well with others to ensure the total satisfaction of our guests. Our goal is to make our guest feel welcomed, while supplying them with the best hot sub in town! Subs are only part of our story. A portion of every purchase in 2020 at all US Firehouse Subs locations goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, to be used to provide lifesaving equipment to first responders. Since the Foundation started, it has granted over $53 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes. What we are looking for Desire to learn Guest-focused attitude Strong work ethic Team player Competitive Hourly Wage Fun Team-Oriented Environment Flexible Scheduling Employee Discount Paid Holidays Tips Job Duties / Responsibilities Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations to include health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA and any other appropriate regulations required for the legal operation of the business. Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures. Ensure the profitability of the business by operating shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness. Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operation game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner. Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM. Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and accomplished on schedule. Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives. Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner at all times. Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner any and all issues that may impact our business.
