Looking for caregiving work that fits your schedule? FirstLight Home Care is hiring experienced caregivers for clients throughout San Diego County .

We offer flexible 4–12 hour shifts , including days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, and weekends.

You don't need open availability. Tell us when you're available and what areas you're willing to work in. We match caregivers with assignments based on location, experience, availability, and client needs.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Hands-on personal care experience
• Reliable transportation
• Valid California driver's license & current auto insurance
• California Home Care Aide registration or ability to obtain it
• Strong communication skills
• Compassionate, dependable & professional attitude

Experience with dementia care, mobility assistance, transfers, and personal care is strongly preferred for certain assignments.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's care plan, you may assist with:

• Bathing, grooming & dressing
• Toileting & incontinence care
• Dementia redirection & reassurance
• Transfers & mobility assistance
• Fall prevention & standby assistance
• Meal preparation & feeding assistance
• Medication reminders
• Companionship & activities
• Light housekeeping & laundry
• Documenting care & reporting changes
