About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required. - Level 1 Trauma experience required. - Med/Surg experience required. License: - Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications: - ACLS required. - BLS required. - EKG exam required. Must-Have: - Candidates must float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. - Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted. - Candidates must have at least one reference required at time of submission. - Rehire eligibility checks will be conducted; previous work history must be noted. Description: The role requires working predominantly in Telemetry. Candidates will also have the possibility to work in other areas as needed. The nurse will be expected to work three out of five winter holidays. The patient ratio is 5:1. Mandatory compliance requirements include certifications in BLS and ACLS, as well as passing an EKG exam. Candidates must be aware that any time off requests submitted after the offer will not be approved. Modules will be completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty. Candidates will be required to pass an onboarding exam, math exam, med/pharmacology exam, and specialty competency exams.
