Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment
- Adapt learning experiences to meet the individual needs of each child
- Foster positive relationships with children and families
Lead Teacher Qualifications:
Must have one of the following qualifications. Please don't apply if you don't satisfy one of the below qualifications:- AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education ( ECE ), Special Education-ECE or a non-ECE degree with 15 units of ECE-specific coursework
- 8+ years of experience in a TRS or nationally-accredited program, OR
- 2+ years of experience teaching in a TRS or nationally accredited program and one of the
following:- CDA or another TEA-approved early childhood credential
- Certification from Association Montessori International or Montessori Accreditation
Council for Teacher Education - AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood or related field, OR
- An equivalent qualification
