Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience (2+ years) - High-risk experience - Immediate newborn care Description: Client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The hospital is licensed for a significant number of beds and has received national recognition for clinical quality. The facility has achieved a high safety grade and has earned prestigious designations for nursing excellence. The Labor and Delivery unit has 16 beds and approximately 120 staff members. Patient ratios on this unit are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Common equipment includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring. The electronic medical records system utilized is Cerner. Typical procedures performed in this unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hysterectomy. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing and adaptable personality. Weekend work may be required as approved. This position is for a contractor replacement.
