Contract | Days | 3×12 or 4×12 hours (7:00-19:30) | Weekend call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab and EP setting with an average daily census of 15-18 cases
• Perform circulating, Level 1, and scrub roles as required
• Support a broad range of procedures including TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, EP ablations, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, pacemaker and ICD implants, Watchman, MitraClips, coronary angiography, ECHO, and lead extractions and reimplantation
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a tertiary, academic medical center environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Proficiency in circulating, Level 1, and scrub roles
• Must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application; any time off requested after submission is at manager discretion

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• TNCC certification
• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as ECMO, TAVR, or Watchman/MitraClip
