Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist Profession: Respiratory Specialty: RRT Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios - Epic charting system experience preferred - Weekend coverage every other week Description: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the travel contract, acceptance of these conditions is affirmed, and reporting as assigned by the immediate unit manager in case of an emergency event is required. Travelers should only apply if they are comfortable with these conditions. The facility does not accept local travelers; applicants must be over 65 miles from the site. Previous charge experience is preferred. Two years of experience in specialty is necessary for all locations. Candidates must have a compact or state license upon submission. AHA certifications are required in PDF format. References are not required for submission, but manager/supervisor references will be required for contract clearance. Resources who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated from the organization for one full year before reapplying.
