Position Summary:

Customer Service is our priority and what sets us apart from our competitors. We are looking for our next customer service focused team member to coordinate inventory levels and supply, transportation providers and local delivery services to ensure timely and proper movement of John H Black Co. new masonry products in the 8 counties of Western New York.

Essential Functions:

Monitor inventory levels and review with GM to determine reorder quantities.

Coordinate transportation providers to ensure timely and proper movement to prevent supply chain disruption.

Customer Service Inventory / Logistics

Generate shipping documents

Generate special shipping arrangements as needed

Maintain accurate shipping files

Schedule/Manage Local Deliveries

Maintain equipment service logs

Purchasing and Receiving

Other Tasks Assigned

Education and Experience:

• BS/BA
• 1-3 years of related experience
• High school diploma + 2-5 years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks & Google products
• Comfortable speaking with people professionally in person and on the phone
• Capacity to learn about product lines distributed
• Able to communicate ideas clearly
• Attention to detail
• Able to manage time commitments, and prioritize tasks
• Problem-solving skills
• Able to listen and extract the facts
• Familiarity/interest in forklift operation
• Able to meet physical mobility for work responsibilities.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. waist high
• Able to carry up to 50 lbs. a distance of 10 feet alone
• Able to push, pull 50 lbs.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs. shoulder high
