About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Stores to take on a senior leadership role with full responsibility for a multi-unit store portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading, coaching, and holding accountable a field organization that includes Regional/District Managers and Store Leaders. This role demands the building of a performance-driven culture, the ability to read and interpret P&Ls, and the skill to analyze business performance to drive immediate actions for improvement. The Head of Stores will also be responsible for managing key performance indicators, identifying underperforming stores, and leading turnaround efforts, as well as ensuring the integration of newly acquired store groups and the consistent execution of merchandising, pricing, and in-store standards. Applicants for the Head of Stores position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive retail leadership experience, with a strong background in apparel retail. The role requires a proven track record in driving sales and profit within a high-volume retail environment, as well as significant multi-unit leadership experience at a Director, Regional, or VP level. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of store economics, and the ability to quickly diagnose performance issues and implement effective solutions. Strong leadership presence, excellent communication, and team-building skills are essential, as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-expectation, performance-driven environment.
