Position Overview The Managing Attorney will oversee the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. In addition to handling an active caseload, the Managing Attorney will lead and mentor a team of attorneys, helping to ensure high-quality legal work, operational efficiency, and professional development across the team. This leadership role works closely with insurance companies, employers, third-party administrators, firm leadership, and litigation teams to drive successful outcomes for clients while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. We are seeking a strong leader with 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience and demonstrated experience supervising or mentoring attorneys. Skills & Experience Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing Minimum 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience preferred Prior management, supervisory, or mentoring experience strongly preferred Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability Excellent written and oral communication Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities Commitment to proactive case management and client service Experience in Merus or Litify is preferred but not required Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr WC Law Corp
