Housekeeper

Landmark Hospital of Athens has an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team! This position is PRN as needed on day shift with weekend requirement. Summary: Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner, using a professional and customer service-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans patients'/residents' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets
• Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies
• Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedure
• Performs general maintenance as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background check
