Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$3427.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provides immediate emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment as a registered nurse specialized in emergency services. Evaluates, stabilizes, and manages patients with a wide range of critical medical conditions, ensuring rapid and effective treatment. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols essential for saving lives.

Responsibilities:

• Responds swiftly to emergency calls, delivering advanced life support and medical interventions.
• Assesses patient conditions accurately to determine appropriate course of treatment.
• Administers medications, performs intubations, and conducts surgical airway insertions when necessary.
• Coordinates with emergency medical teams and on-line medical control to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintains patient safety, dignity, and privacy throughout pre-hospital treatment.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans aligned with current medical standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrates current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Possesses AHA- or ARC-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Has at least two years recent experience in emergency field settings.
• Maintains current EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency (within last 12 months).
• Preferred to have recent experience in a 911 system and emergency vehicle operation certification (EVOC).
