Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mission-critical projects from conception through completion. This role will oversee high-value programmes within technically demanding environments where safety, resilience, quality and operational continuity are essential. You will be responsible for establishing delivery strategies, defining project objectives, managing governance, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with agreed scope, budget, programme and performance standards. You will provide visible leadership across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, suppliers and client representatives. Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, procurement and resourcing strategies, risk and opportunity registers, change control processes, reporting frameworks and recovery plans where required. You will monitor progress against critical milestones, manage commercial and contractual matters, and ensure that design, construction, commissioning and handover activities are fully integrated. A strong focus on health and safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, security and business continuity will be central to your work. The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing major capital projects in mission-critical, infrastructure, industrial, data centre, energy or similarly complex environments. You will be confident leading projects through the full lifecycle and working with senior stakeholders in high-pressure situations. Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and a structured approach to problem-solving are essential, together with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels. A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, engineering, construction or a related discipline is preferred, alongside recognised project management certification or equivalent experience. You should be proactive, collaborative and resilient, with a proven record of delivering safe, technically excellent projects in environments where reliability and precision are paramount. #J-18808-Ljbffr
