About the Role Senior Software Engineer – IBOR Qualifications 7 to 10+ years in systems development using Java and J2EE (currently working with Java 17; experience with version 11 will work) Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and high-performance systems Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs Experience with WebSockets, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines (especially using Jenkins) is a strong plus Demonstrated use of GenAI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment Strong analysis, design, and modeling skills Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application; experience with JMeter is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Responsibilities Lead the technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the IBOR platform Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot Collaborate with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, issue identification, and risk management Partner with the Architecture team to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the enterprise Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends, including AI-assisted development tools, to ensure systems and team are of the highest caliber Job Title Senior Software Engineer Job Family Software Engineering Location 280 Congress EEO Statement As an equal opportunity employer, Wellington Management considers all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion, creed, national origin, age, ancestry, disability (physical or mental), medical condition, citizenship, marital status, pregnancy, veteran or military status, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
