Job Title: Warehouse Receiver / Packer Job Description

This role focuses on accurately receiving, picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You use RF scanners, pick sheets, and various material-handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility, support cycle counts, and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.

• Pick products accurately using an RF scanner in accordance with pick sheets and order sheets.
• Verify that all picked items match order requirements and quality standards before packing.
• Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and staging for outbound delivery.
• Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Move materials throughout the facility using various equipment, which may include pallet jacks and forklifts, as appropriate.
• Support receiving operations by handling incoming materials and organizing inventory within designated areas.
• Follow warehouse processes across multiple departments such as ITAD, Integration Lab, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Special Projects as needed.
• Lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more, while following safe lifting practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines.
• Work reliably throughout the contract period, meeting performance expectations and productivity goals to support potential conversion to a permanent role.

• At least 6 months of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory activities.
• Order picking and scanning experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform cycle counts and basic inventory control tasks.
• Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
• Basic familiarity with warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and interpret pick sheets, order sheets, and related documentation.
• Reliable work habits with consistent attendance and punctuality.

• Experience in a warehouse setting that includes shipping, receiving, and inventory functions.
• Comfort working across multiple departments such as ITAD, Integration Lab, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Special Projects.
• Willingness to learn additional warehouse systems and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads, including ramp and peak seasons.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with a large workforce of over 100 employees.

You work in a combined warehouse and office campus with more than 100 employees, though this role is fully based in the warehouse. The facility is organized into six major departments: ITAD, Integration Lab, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Special Projects, providing exposure to a variety of operations and processes. The primary schedule is first shift, typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with two shifts normally in operation and a third shift added during busy ramp or peak seasons. The environment is active and physically demanding, involving frequent movement of materials and regular heavy lifting, supported by warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. You are expected to follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while working collaboratively in a large, team-focused setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
