Cardiac Cath Lab Travel RN - Diagnostic & Interventional

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the cardiac cath lab
• Prior travel contract experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI/RCIS
• Core clinical skills: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath experience (e.g., stent placement, left/right heart cath, PCI/PTCA), mechanical circulatory support, temporary pacemaker care, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, vascular closure systems
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy (Siemens)
• Experience with OCT, PA line insertion, TAVR, Watchman (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including stent placements and PCI/PTCA
• Manage mechanical circulatory support devices and assist with temporary pacemaker care
• Scrub and/or circulate during procedures and accurately monitor patient status
• Prepare access sites and set up necessary equipment, including EKG lead placement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care

Compliance / Notes:

• Call coverage required: typically 6 evenings and 1 weekend per 6 weeks
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Must respond to on-call within 30 minutes
