About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead a large team and drive excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of operations, including strategic planning, continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusion. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in industrial manufacturing, a strong background in servant leadership, and the ability to influence and manage teams to achieve operational and financial goals. The VP of Operations will be expected to ensure that the company's values and mission are upheld, and to work closely with the senior leadership team to understand the business and its competitive landscape. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in industrial manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial engineered products or durable goods manufacturing, and must demonstrate strong team leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. The role demands a leader with a high tolerance for ambiguity, a strong drive for results, and the ability to make decisions with conviction. The VP of Operations will be expected to lead a culture of continuous process improvement and operational excellence, and to develop and execute global sourcing strategies that meet the company's requirements.
