Overview Food & Beverage Director position at Tradition Golf Club, La Quinta, CA. Opportunity to lead member dining experiences and F&B operations. Tradition seeks an emerging leader who is ambitious, eager to learn, and motivated to continually grow within a premier private club environment. A strong appreciation for refined yet understated service, coupled with a commitment to consistency and hospitality excellence, will be essential to success in this role. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all food & beverage operations at Tradition Golf Club. Directly supervise the front-of-house team and the Executive Chef; foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partner with the CEO and leadership to elevate the overall F&B experience while preserving the Club’s warm, intimate, and personalized culture. Ensure consistent, high-quality à la carte dining and catering services; monitor service standards and guest feedback. Develop, mentor, and align staff; refine operational systems, communication, and daily execution to ensure consistency and hospitality excellence. Candidate Qualifications Experience in food & beverage operations across casual and fine dining, events, and banquet service within multi-outlet club, resort, or luxury hospitality. High-energy, self-motivated leader with emotional intelligence; able to build rapport with members and staff. Strong planning, attention to detail, time management, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for high-quality member service and exceeding expectations; ability to lead with an inspirational style and foster accountability. Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills; comfortable interacting with executives and team members. Educational And Certification Qualifications 10 years F&B management experience in high-volume club, hotel, or resort; proficiency in fine and casual dining and banquet events. Bachelor’s degree preferred, Hospitality Management; substantial private club or hospitality experience considered in lieu of degree. Salary And Benefits Salary open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include an excellent bonus and benefits package, including association membership. Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000.
