Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Licensed Patrol Preparedness in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
