Role Overview Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway procedures. Role Overview Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway procedures. Assist physicians with bronchoscopy and monitor patient responses, administer IV conscious sedation, and perform procedures such as tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation. Initiate and monitor ventilator protocols, including high-frequency ventilators and Nitric Oxide delivery. In NICU settings, deliver surfactant, perform intubations, and attend high-risk deliveries. Optional duties include transport, intubation, and backup charge responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or equivalent in Respiratory Care, valid New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner license, NBRC credential, ACLS/PALS, and BLS. Critical care experience preferred, with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year. Strong assessment skills and ability to follow departmental protocols are essential.
