Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care under routine and emergent conditions across a variety of care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic/urgent care environments
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered imaging studies
• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion, documentation, and technical quality consistent with department protocols and applicable accreditation standards
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, equipment cleaning, high-level disinfection, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program with emphasis in a cardiovascular specialty, OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited educational program with emphasis in radiologic technology
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for CT Certification (ARRT); certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire date
• AHA BLS certification required
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, and cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology terminology
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, multi-task, and maintain composure in stressful situations
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise sound judgment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Prior experience in a clinical imaging or cardiovascular technology setting
