Supervisor

The Supervisor – Operations position will oversee all operations including pipeline operations, mechanical maintenance, environmental and regulatory compliance for DOT 192 and 195 pipelines within their area while ensuring we uphold a successful safety record. This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within its budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is located in West Texas, Midland area, and is a key component in insuring that assets are maintained safely.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Supervises day to day facility operations to meet required production rates and monitors operating data to minimize problems and downtime.Ensures that established regulatory environmental and safety standards are maintained. Supervises all emergency response activities and decisions relative to the safety of the plant and the surrounding area.Supervises subordinates in performing their job duties in a safe and efficient manner. Administers performance reviews for subordinates and administers disciplinary action when warranted. Ensures all departmental manuals are kept current. Develops and administers training courses pertinent to Operations to ensure personnel qualifications are maintained to comply with all regulatory requirements.Develops and maintains operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Ensures operating parameters are within the limits of the design of the equipment. Participates in RRC/DOT and PHMSA audits as well as maintains all required operational documentation to stay within compliance.Required Skills Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:High school degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years industry experience required for this position.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Proficient use with Microsoft Office software products.Working Conditions:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.50% of the job will be normal office working conditions. 50% will be out in the field assisting personnel as needed. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
