This is an opportunity to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of enterprise data products that directly impact decision-making, operational efficiency, and future innovation across a large public-sector organizationWhat's In It for You?Lead a large-scale data transformation initiative focused on modernizing legacy systems and enabling enterprise-wide data accessibilityShape the vision and roadmap for critical data products, analytics platforms, and data servicesWork alongside data engineers, architects, analysts, scientists, and business leaders to drive meaningful outcomesInfluence enterprise data governance, responsible AI practices, and data-sharing frameworksHelp build trusted, reusable, and scalable data assets that support long-term organizational successEnjoy the flexibility of a remote work environment while working on high-impact initiativesYour Role & ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise data productsIdentify high-value opportunities by assessing business needs, data landscapes, and organizational challengesAlign data product initiatives with enterprise architecture strategies and organizational goalsLead the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from ideation through deployment, enhancement, and retirementPartner closely with data engineering and data science teams to build scalable data pipelines, models, and servicesTranslate business requirements into data transformations, metadata structures, and domain-specific data rulesEnsure data products maintain high standards for quality, governance, documentation, lineage, and scalabilityServe as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholdersCommunicate product roadmaps, value propositions, priorities, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional teamsDefine product success metrics and measure adoption, performance, and business impactSupport the development of dashboards, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and analytics solutionsPromote responsible data use, privacy compliance, governance standards, and ethical AI practicesProvide knowledge transfer and mentorship to teams throughout the product lifecycleSkills & Experience You Should Possess8+ years of experience in Data Product Management, Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related disciplinesProven ability to lead products and teams within complex and evolving environmentsStrong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, warehousing, metadata management, governance, and pipelinesExperience collaborating with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analytics teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business languageExperience developing and managing product roadmaps and prioritization frameworksProficiency with SQL and data pipeline technologiesHands-on experience with data lakes, ETL processes, and enterprise data platformsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on measurable business outcomesBonus Points If You HaveSignificant experience with DatabricksExperience using dbt, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google AnalyticsFamiliarity with Python and JavaExperience implementing modern enterprise data architecturesBackground building internal platforms or developer-focused productsExperience within a highly regulated industry involving reporting, compliance, and statistical analysisUnderstanding of data-sharing agreements and large-scale organizational data-sharing constraintsExperience supporting cloud-based data modernization initiativesEducation & Certifications You NeedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field preferredEquivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will be consideredProduct Management, Data Management, Cloud, or Analytics certifications are advantageousWhat We OfferAt Trissential, we believe talented professionals perform their best when they are empowered, supported, and given opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
