About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 5 months Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: 2+ years minimum of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting License: Active ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certificate Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: Venipuncture experience Description: The position involves providing diagnostic services in nuclear medicine. The technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety. Quality control measures must be implemented to protect patients and staff from harmful radiation. The role requires collaboration within a team of licensed technologists and radiologists. Experience in a consultative medical service setting is preferred. Strong communication and patient care skills are essential for this role. Additional duties include quality assurance monitoring and patient education. Travel experience is highly preferred. References must be provided from supervisory roles within the last year.
