Job Responsibilities

Develop positive relationships with co-workers' drivers and customers

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Assist with inbound customer and driver calls

Enter customer orders accurately and timely into dispatch system

Review orders for accuracy

Manage time efficiently and work effectively with all members of the dispatch team

Communicate information to supervisors and/or customers via messaging, telephone, and internal dispatching system

Assist with schedules as needed throughout the day

Customer Service follow-up as needed

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Perform other duties as assigned by the management team

Qualifications

Commitment to exceeding expectations

Beginner to intermediate skill set of Microsoft Office

Experience working Command Alkon

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Ability to manage priorities and workflow

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams with strong interpersonal skills
