About the Position

Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing. Candidates with previous charge experience are highly recommended. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients who are critically ill. Nurses are expected to manage patient care and provide support for life-saving interventions. We require candidates to hold relevant certifications including ACLS and BLS. Travel nurses may be expected to float to sister facilities as needed. Candidates will be caring for patients with various diagnoses including cardiac and neuro conditions. Daily census in the unit is approximately 20 patients. The position involves managing a patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts. Weekend shifts are required, scheduling every other weekend.
