A leading aviation and operations support company is seeking a dependable, hands-on Base Facility Maintenance Worker I to support daily facility operations, fueling activities, equipment maintenance, and grounds upkeep across multiple operational bases.

Candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, aviation support, fueling operations, facilities, or mechanical environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

As part of the operations and facilities team, responsibilities may include:

• Performing general facility and grounds maintenance
• Conducting inspections and repairs on buildings, vehicles, and equipment
• Supporting aircraft fueling operations and fuel inventory management
• Operating utility vehicles, machinery, forklifts, and maintenance equipment
• Performing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Completing janitorial and upkeep duties to maintain clean, safe facilities
• Assisting with housing upkeep, equipment setup, and office moves
• Maintaining maintenance logs, inventory records, and work orders
• Responding to maintenance requests and operational needs in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with company safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial operations, aviation support, mechanical work, or related environments
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair abilities
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Aviation fueling or fuel handling
• Ground support equipment maintenance
• Forklift or heavy equipment operation
• Commercial driving experience
• Industrial or offshore operations environments

Work Environment

This role involves both indoor and outdoor work and may include exposure to weather conditions, machinery, fuel systems, and moderate industrial noise levels. Candidates must be comfortable working in physically active environments and adhering to strict safety standards.
