We're hiring Aerospace Manufacturing Technicians for multiple temp-to-hire openings with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Arlington, WA. Whether your background is in mechanical assembly or deburring/finishing, we want to hear from you!
Our client manufactures structural aircraft components for major OEMs in the large business and regional jet markets, including engine pylons, wing structures, wheel wells, and interior assemblies. What You'll Do
Depending on your experience and team placement, you may:
- Assemble structural aircraft components using hand and power tools
- Install rivets, brackets, bushings, hinges, and other hardware
- Read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions
- Apply sealants and inspect completed assemblies for quality
- Deburr, blend, and finish machined aerospace parts using hand tools and grinders
- Operate deburring equipment including pencil grinders and air tools
- Follow aerospace specifications, quality standards, and Lean/5S practices
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and wear required PPE
Available Schedules
- Monday-Thursday: 4:30am-3:00pm
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-4:30pm
- Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm-2:30am (+$4.00/hr shift differential)
- Friday-Sunday: 4:30am-5:00pm
Pay
$23.00-$28.00 per hour DOE
Shift Differential
- +$4.00/hour for weekday night shifts
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of recent aerospace or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good manual dexterity and basic shop math skills
- Ability to read work instructions and blueprints preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude assessment required during the interview process
