Role Overview As a Market Manager, you will lead an Ambassador team and facilitate legendary experiences for our customers. You will be the face of Capital One in the community, building alliances with local organizations and collaborating with vendors to generate new business. You will serve as a trusted mentor, guiding individual development and overall team performance. Key Responsibilities Manage talent and resources across an average of 1‑3 branches with a team of Ambassadors, supporting a large and diverse set of customers. Travel within the district and region to support a cluster of locations. Multitask, manage time effectively, and empower Ambassadors to operate independently when you are at another location. Lead by example and help Ambassadors develop professionally, personally, and as a high‑performing team. Maintain the physical space and coach Ambassadors to create a welcoming environment that brings the brand to life. Drive continuous improvement and inspire the team to embrace change. Ensure accountability and connect behavior to purpose and potential. Grow associate skills and performance through active, continuous coaching and recognition. Model Capital One’s values—Excellence and Do the Right Thing—while supporting branch‑based change management. Serve as a product expert, handling client escalations or complex sales referred by Ambassadors and participating in performance calls with small business and commercial partners as appropriate. Possess a franchise ownership attitude and proven leadership experience focused on exceeding customer‑based goals and metrics. Engage customers and visitors with friendliness and confidence, supporting technology challenges and showcasing services and products. Build strong community ties, collaborating with local businesses, nonprofits, and charities to plan events inside and outside the branch. Show curiosity, continuously learning what Capital One offers customers—products, services, and experiences—to guide them toward financial goals. Demonstrate digital savvy, showcasing the possibilities of our physical space and the mobile and online experience. Act as a customer advocate, always available to assist and provide clear, concise guidance. Play a dedicated team player role, inspiring teammates as they inspire you. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 2 years of retail, sales, or banking experience. At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 4+ years of customer, retail, or financial services experience. 2+ years of experience with people management. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives.
