About the Position

Location: Long Island, NY (Outpatient Only) Coram NY

Schedule: Full-time & Part-time | 8-hour shifts | 40 hrs/week

Position Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Rheumatologist (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient practice in Long Island, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outpatient consultations for rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
Diagnose and manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, scleroderma, ankylosing spondylitis, and other musculoskeletal disorders
Interpret laboratory results and imaging studies to guide treatment decisions
Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacotherapy, biologics, and lifestyle modifications
Provide ongoing follow-up care to monitor disease progression and treatment response
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care

Requirements

✅ Requirements

MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Rheumatology
Minimum 3 years of outpatient clinical experience
Strong diagnostic and clinical expertise in rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
Experience in treatment planning, biologics, and chronic disease management
Commitment to patient-centered outpatient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
