Investment Management Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Investment Management Associate to join their Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in investment management law and a strong academic background.
Duties
- Represent registered investment companies in legal matters.
- Prepare and review registration statements and offering documents.
- Draft and analyze board meeting materials and investment management agreements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related regulations.
- Proven experience with the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Intrinsic motivation and responsiveness.
Education
Strong academic credentials required.
Certifications
- Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
