Emergency Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team in the Urgent Care transition unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, specifically with a minimum of two years of experience in an emergency room setting. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

Shift Duration: 8 hours
Shift Time: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assist in managing urgent care transitions and maintaining efficiency within the unit.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and their families on health management and prevention strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in an emergency room setting.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
